First Town Foods in Fort Vermilion, Alberta is hiring a cashier. Permanent, full-time, on-site position (work must be completed at the physical location — there is no option to work remotely).
Responsibilities:
• Operate cash register
• Scan items
• Provide customer service
• Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol or tobacco products
• Accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payment
• Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental or lease
• Assist in display of merchandise
• Maintain sales records for inventory control
What you need
- Languages: English
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
