Retail Sales Associate

The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for all sales activities from greeting customers, answering questions, offering assistance, suggesting items, lending opinions when asked and providing extensive product information. This individual will help to promote a positive store environment that sets the bar for the retail service industry.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Deliver superior customer service that ensures ongoing sales and high levels of customer satisfaction
· Determine customer needs and recommend products to meet their needs
· Ensure sales floor is clean and organized
· Keep the sales floor stocked with merchandise
· Develop and cultivate strong buying relationships with customers
· Stay up to date with promotional events, sales and current products
· Available to work a variety of hours, which may include mornings, evenings and weekends
· Other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications:
· Previous sales experience an asset
· Familiar with a POS system an asset
· Strong communication skills
· Proven track record of achieving sales quotas
· Ability to stand for most of your shift
· Enthusiastic, friendly and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service
· Maintain a professional attitude with customers and fellow employees
